Buyer’s Guide for LED Flood Light

Because of its low cost and user-friendly nature, motion sensor flood lights are currently quite popular. Infrared sensors are utilized in conjunction with them. They usually have a 180-degree range of motion and can pick up people and objects from up to 75 feet away. Depending on the sensor, the light will stay on for 1-10 minutes before automatically turning off. As a result, it provides a high level of security and assures that no energy is wasted if you forget to turn it off.

Warranty and Life-span

Because of their extended life, LEDs are often recognized as the most outstanding lighting alternative. They can last for about 50,000 hours on average. However, to only purchase things that are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee. Also, before buying an LED flood light, customers should look for other qualities such as IP certification, housing and lens quality, efficiency, and so on.

CRI (Color Rendering Index)

The Colour Rendering Index (CRI) is used to assess color quality. CRI is a metric that measures how accurately colors are portrayed under various lighting conditions. The CRI scale runs from 1 to 100.  The CRI of natural sunlight is close to 100, and a CRI of 100 indicates that the bulb generates a wide range of colors. The CRI of fluorescent lamps is 70, and the CRI of LEDs ranges from 70 to 90.
